A leading automotive company is looking for a Default Risk Account Manager to manage dealer relationships and assess dealer health. This field-based position in the South East of the UK offers the flexibility of remote work while requiring travel. Reporting to the Senior Risk Support Manager, this is a field‑based role offering the flexibility of mainly remote working with occasional visits to our Chester Head office. As a Default Risk Account Manager you’ll cover a wide patch (London & South East of the UK – from Brighton up to Luton and across to Margate and Ramsgate). You’ll need to be comfortable with travel, with occasional overnight stays, and you’ll play a key role supporting our dealer network across this diverse and dynamic area.

This is a varied role where you’ll combine negotiation skills, relationship‑building and risk‑management expertise to support our dealer network.
As a Default Account Manager you’ll play a key role in protecting NextGear Capital’s investment whilst supporting our dealer network. You’ll assess dealer health by analysing risk indicators, stock positions and account performance before collaborating with head office to decide the best course of action.
This role combines analytical thinking, negotiation and relationship management. From spotting early warning signs to driving resolution, you’ll make a real impact on both dealer performance and our business success.
