Overview

Sirona Medical are looking to recruit a Decontamination Technician for an ongoing contract in Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilise Endoscopy equipment and provide a high standard of professionalism as part of the clinical team within the Endoscopy Department in Scotland.
• Deliver all aspects of Decontamination at a high standard.
• Assemble and disassemble Endoscopy equipment.
• Ensure work is carried out to deadlines and within agreed working practices and procedures (e.g., Health & Safety, hygiene, delivery of instruments to point of use).
• Maintain a clean and disinfected working environment.
• Liaise with internal customers to ensure all service requirements are met.
• Maintain stock levels in line with department requirements.
• Dispose of all decontaminated waste in accordance with statutory and PGH’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory and PGH’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in Wassenburg is essential. Must have a Wassenburg certificate within the last year.
• Experience in both assembling and disassembling Endoscopy equipment.
• Ability to work to deadlines and adhere to Health & Safety, hygiene and other relevant procedures.
