A leading technology company is seeking a Decom Tech to join their expanding decommissioning team. Responsibilities include the safe decommissioning of server racks and maintaining inventory. The Decom Team is responsible for the safe, secure and efficient decommissioning of racks in accordance with high operating standards to ensure AWS can continue to deliver increased data center capacity and services for our customers. We are expanding our decommissioning team and are looking for a Decom Tech with an understanding of data center infrastructure operations. AWS emphasizes data security; selected candidates must be able to perform repetitive tasks without variance and adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The successful candidate will have experience with hardware components (HDD/SSD, RAM, CPU, PSU, etc.), good written and verbal communication skills, and be capable of working effectively in a team.
