A finance technology company in the UK is seeking a Decision Scientist to optimize lending strategies and analyze credit risk processes. This entry-level position requires a quantitative degree and offers opportunities for insight-driven contributions. This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity perfect for a talented individual who has recently graduated with a degree in a quantitive focus (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or Economics). This role is specifically designed to set a new graduate up for success, so we are exclusively considering applicants with this profile.
This role sits in the Credit Risk team who are hugely influential to our overall lending process. They look at measuring our risk, optimising our credit risk funnel and forecasting the performance of our loan portfolios. To do this, they work with the credit risk modelling, engineering, data management, capital markets and business operations teams to truly understand our objectives and shape analytical solutions.

This role focuses on our Credit Risk lending capabilities. You’ll be given the opportunity to think outside the box and come up with a wide range of suggestions and ideas to optimise our ability to lend to small businesses, while also delivering strong returns for our investors.
