Job summary

A leading motor dealership in the East Midlands is seeking a Dealership Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting. The ideal candidate will have at least a Level 2 AAT qualification, strong analytical skills, and a proven accounting track record. Responsibilities include consolidating forecasts, preparing reconciliations, and managing a team. Qualifications

  • Experienced Accountant with a successful track record.
  • Proficient in monthly accounting cycles and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on approach to manage accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze weekly business unit forecasts.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial information reported to head office.
  • Provide robust management information for month end results.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with preparation of annual financial business plan.
  • Manage Accounts & Administration team.
  • Advise on fiscal policies and ensure adherence.
