Reports to: Senior Finance Manager – Business Partners

Key Stakeholders: Retail Directors & Managers, HR Director, Finance Director and Senior Team, Payroll Team

Following on from the recent global implementation of Dayforce in 2025 we are looking for someone to join our team on a fixed term basis to own the extraction of accurate data from Dayforce and use this data to provide clear, actionable reports and analytics that support business decision making.

This newly created role will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager – Business Partners and will play a key role in supporting payroll analytics and headcount reporting across our retail operations and Head Office. The ideal candidate will have experience with Dayforce system and be able to extract data from the system to support us, as we look to unlock benefits and integrate our shiny new payroll system into business-as-usual reporting. Our Retail business is made up of over 400 Stores – 250 in the UK and 150 internationally across 7 markets.

We are looking for someone who can join the team and get started on scoping, designing and building a standardised suite of reporting from Dayforce, to drive better reporting to ultimately drive the efficiency of our payroll spend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take the lead in designing a suite of reports and dashboards that extract accurate and insightful people and payroll data from Dayforce.
  • Use data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) to provide clear, user-friendly reporting and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with finance, people and retail teams to gather requirements and develop reporting and dashboards that surface meaningful insights.
  • Provide proactive analysis to transform data into actionable insights that support business decision making.
  • Continuously evolve existing reports to better serve the needs of business users.
  • Become the internal SME on Dayforce, supporting the rest of the team to self-serve where appropriate.
  • Investigate and test the feasibility of automating data feeds into our Accounting Software (NetSuite) and Reporting Tool (Workday).

  • Prior experience extracting, analysing and validating data with Dayforce is required.
  • Proven experience generating clear, actionable reports.
  • Proficient in Excel and Power BI.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
