About the Role

As the Nursery Manager, you\'ll be responsible for the operational leadership of the setting—creating a safe, engaging learning environment while also developing and implementing strategies to grow the business, increase occupancy, and ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of early years professionals
  • Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, and safeguarding regulations
  • Maintain and improve care and education quality across the setting
  • Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, the local community, and external partners
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and oversee efficient staff deployment
  • Monitor performance and prepare for inspections and audits
  • Identify and pursue local marketing, outreach, and partnership opportunities
About You

We\'re looking for a confident, commercially-minded leader who can combine a nurturing ethos with strong business acumen.

Essential Requirements
  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3-5 years\' experience in a nursery role
  • Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and statutory requirements
  • Proven track record of increasing nursery occupancy or business development
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage budgets, analyse KPIs, and make strategic decisions
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for both childcare and business growth
  • Enhanced DBS check and suitable references
