A vibrant family of independent schools in Edinburgh is seeking a Database and Office Administrator for a part-time role. This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring a minimum of two days in-office. The successful candidate will manage database projects, support community engagement, and perform various administrative duties. Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a Database and Office Administrator to join the Schools on a permanent, part-time basis. The position is available for an immediate start (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The role is part-time, working 20 hours per week, across a four-day working pattern with a pro-rated salary of £15,531. The pro-rated annual holiday leave entitlement is 16.5 days, plus 10 days statutory holiday at Christmas and Easter, when the schools are closed. This is a hybrid working position, with a minimum of two days required to work in the office.
The Development Department focuses on developing relationships that benefit both the schools and the connections in various ways, from social events to establish a sense of community, to supporting the careers department and academic or extra-curricular objectives, and fundraising for a variety of objectives, such as capital projects for the School and our bursary programme.
The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, across a four-day pattern with hybrid working (minimum two days in the office).
ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
