Responsibilities
You will be the primary technical point of contact for potential customers during the sales process, driving technical wins for data security opportunities.
- Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them secure sensitive data and meet compliance requirements.
- Solution Architecture: Design data security solutions using Microsoft Purview, including data classification, sensitivity labeling, encryption policies, insider risk management, and data loss prevention (DLP).
- Technical Leadership: Lead proof-of-concepts and architecture reviews.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to align customer needs with Microsoft’s security roadmap.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on security trends, threats, and Microsoft technologies.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain deep understanding of Microsoft security architectures, solutions, and technologies.
- Opportunity Management: Coordinate weekly with sales teams to understand and prioritize opportunities, address blockers, and ensure technical wins.
- Customer Interaction: Engage proactively with customers, building credibility as a trusted advisor for Microsoft Security.
- Security Strategy Development: Develop recommendations to improve clients' security posture and tailor Microsoft messaging.
- Presentations and Demonstrations: Lead technical presentations, workshops, architecture design sessions, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate solutions and solve customer security challenges.
- Solution Integration: Demonstrate capabilities, apply architecture patterns, and support integration into customer environments.
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and partners to scale solution delivery and support sell-with scenarios.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share best practices and knowledge to enable growth in the Security business.
