A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Data Assurance and Protection Manager to develop and manage vital information governance and quality assurance agendas. This role involves leading digital assurance teams and ensuring compliance with data protection laws. Ideal candidates will have robust experience in digital assurance and a passion for supporting mental health services through effective data management.
The Data Assurance and Protection Manager will develop and manage the Information Governance and Information Quality Assurance agendas for the Trust, ensuring that any action plans, policies and procedures are fully implemented. The post holder will manage Data Protection, Caldicott Principles, confidentiality, Information legislation requests (FOI, SAR, police or other public bodies).
The role is pivotal in ensuring the Trust's digital assurance and data protection frameworks are robust, compliant, and aligned with strategic goals, ultimately supporting the organisation in the delivery of high-quality mental health services. The post holder will provide specialised knowledge and expert advice across all aspects to patients, members of the public and staff at all levels in the organisation.
