Job summary

A leading law firm in London is seeking an experienced data privacy and cyber lawyer with a minimum of 6 years' PQE. The successful candidate will join a specialist sub-team in the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) group and will take on responsibilities such as data privacy advisory work, cyber security, and incident response. This role presents an opportunity to play a significant part in the growth of the firm's data and cyber practice.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of post-qualification experience in data privacy and cybersecurity law.
• Experience from a highly regarded UK or US law practice.
• Ability to handle a wide range of data and cyber-related work.

Job description

A leading light in the technology market, our US firm client is seeking an experienced data privacy and cyber lawyer, ideally with at least 6 years' PQE (E&W qualified) from another highly regarded UK or US practice, to join a specialist sub‑team within the firm's highly regarded London TMT group.

This role will work alongside partners in London on the full range of data privacy advisory work, cyber security, incident response, and related regulatory and compliance work. An important hire, the team is looking for a talented data and cyber lawyer who is able to turn their hand to a wide range of data and cyber‑related work and who wants to maintain a broad practice and to play a key role in the future development and growth of the firm's data and cyber practice in London.
