Job description
Overview

Golborne High School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, suitably experienced and qualified person to join our school administration team. This role involves assisting with co-ordinating, tracking and analysis of progress and assessment data to ensure all stakeholders receive accurate and timely information. Additionally the successful candidate will support the management of the curriculum, including setting and timetabling. Start date is flexible.

Golborne is a flourishing 11-16 secondary school that is proud to provide an exceptional education for the children of Golborne and Lowton. We are one of a very small number of comprehensive secondary schools in the North West to be awarded an Ofsted judgement of Outstanding (January 2023). We provide an excellent GCSE results record, a well-rounded curriculum and opportunities for personal development beyond the classroom. We offer exceptional pastoral care and a CPD package for teaching and support staff that supports career development at all levels. We are the lead school for the Wigan Institute of Education and collaborate with partners to deliver Initial Teacher Training, school-to-school support, CPD and early career framework structures.

Remuneration and Hours

Grade 5 £26,824 - £29,540 pro rata. Actual salary £23,559 - £25,945. 37 hours per week – Term Time plus 2 weeks. Flexible/Part-Time working will be considered and can be discussed at interview.
