A leading data insight provider in the UK is seeking a candidate to deliver high-quality reporting and insight for governance and strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include developing data plans, producing reports for senior leadership, and supporting data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills along with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL. This role offers a competitive salary and hybrid working arrangements.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team and operational leaders, this role will deliver high-quality reporting, insight and assurance to support governance, performance monitoring and strategic decision-making.
Developing and delivering a data and insight plan in collaboration with the Senior Management Team
Producing performance, governance and assurance reports for senior leadership
Developing reports on complaint volumes, trends, themes and sectoral analysis
Providing statistical analysis and insight to support interpretation of published data
Working with managers and directors to improve data quality and reporting capability
Supporting the roll‑out of new complaint standards and associated data collection and publication
Leading on statistical support using internal and external data sources
Responding to ad‑hoc management queries on caseloads, decision types, complaint issues and quality assurance
Preparing statistical responses to external requests, including from legislative bodies, media and FOI requests
Advising on survey and questionnaire design and reporting on findings
Building organisational capability in the use of data and insight
Engaging with equivalent organisations across the UK and Ireland
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences
Proven experience in data analysis, reporting and performance monitoring
Experience building and maintaining a suite of reports for senior and operational management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement
Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands and meet deadlines
Experience working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams
Good understanding of statistical concepts
Working knowledge of large, complex databases and data models
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI
Working knowledge of SQL (or willingness to develop this skill with training)
Understanding of GDPR and Freedom of Information legislation
Experience working in a public sector, regulatory or complaints-based environment
Experience using case management systems
Experience designing and analysing surveys
Knowledge of sampling and extrapolation techniques
Experience presenting to senior leadership or governance committees
