National Grid is hiring a Data Fabric Manager on a permanent basis. This position can be based in Warwick or London. This role is designated as hybrid, with an expectation of 4-5 days per month in the office. Requirements may vary based on business needs and company policy.
As Data Fabric Platform Manager, you'll be accountable for the strategic leadership, operation and continual improvement of NGET's enterprise Data Fabric. You'll ensure the Fabric becomes the backbone of NGET's data strategy by providing trusted, governed, connected, high performing data products across Electricity Transmission.
You'll blend platform management (secure, scalable, reliable infrastructure; operational excellence) and product management (roadmap, adoption, user experience, value realisation). Key responsibilties are the following:
The role is not only critical to enabling NGET's digital transformation, but also to allow NGET to meet new Ofgem and industry guidelines, providing deep cloud expertise that empowers product and platform teams while ensuring safety, security, compliance and operational excellence.
