Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking a Data Architect for a 12-month contract based in the United Kingdom. This hybrid role involves working one day onsite in Croydon and four days remote each week. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data architecture, including strong SQL skills, expertise in designing data warehouses, and experience with cloud data platforms like AWS and Azure. Candidates must have active SC clearance. The day rate ranges from £700 to £760, inside IR35, and is available only through an umbrella company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Architect or Senior Data Engineer / Data Modeller.
• Strong expertise in data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical).
• Experience designing data warehouses and data lake architectures.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
• Knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT, and streaming architectures.
• Solid understanding of data governance, metadata, and master data concepts.
