We're looking for a Data Architect who will design, govern, and evolve our cloud-based data platform. You'll define how data flows across the business, ensure scalable and secure architecture, and set the technical direction for analytics and operational data systems. Your work will directly support go-to-market strategies, customer insights and product innovation.

Overview

Role summary: Data Architect responsible for designing and governing the analytics data platform and ensuring robust data flows, security, and scalability to enable analytics, reporting and product insights.

What You'll Do
  • Design and maintain the analytical data architecture using Snowflake as our core data warehouse
  • Develop scalable data models that support product analytics, operational reporting, and advanced security use cases
  • Implement and manage robust ELT pipelines using dbt, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance
  • Establish and enforce data governance, access controls, and compliance best practices
  • Lead performance tuning, cost optimization, and system monitoring for the data platform
  • Mentor data engineers and analysts on modelling patterns, dbt practices, and warehouse optimization
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in data architecture, cloud analytics, and cybersecurity data challenges
  • Demonstrate expertise in Snowflake: advanced performance tuning, storage optimization, security features (e.g., RBAC, data masking)
  • Show strong data modelling skills: experience with dimensional modelling (Kimball/Star Schema), data vault, or hybrid approaches
  • Hands-on experience with dbt: designing modular transformations, testing frameworks, and documentation
  • Maintain solid SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing
  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Fivetran, Tableau, etc.)
  • Proven ability to design data architectures that meet stringent security, compliance, and privacy requirements
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
  • Experience in cybersecurity or other security-sensitive domains (preferred but not required)

Compensation

The UK base salary range for this position is £64,000-£96,000 base + benefits. This reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. This position may also be eligible for bonus, incentive plans, and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. These factors and individual capabilities will also determine the individual pay offered.
