Job summary

A UK-based electrical distribution firm is seeking an experienced data analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will work closely with the ERP & Data Analytics Manager to deliver accurate and timely data insights. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in data analysis, strong skills in ERP/WMS databases, and advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Luton, where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

An established UK-based organisation within the electrical distribution and manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role has been created to provide continuity and ongoing improvement of data analytics during a period of parental leave cover.

Working closely with the ERP & Data Analytics Manager and reporting into senior technical leadership, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful data to stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce data metrics, insights, and trend analysis
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
• Streamline data collection and reporting processes
• Support teams in accessing and understanding system data
• Maintain data governance and GDPR compliance

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in data analysis and data management
• Strong experience with ERP/WMS databases and MS SQL
• Advanced Power BI and Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
