Data Analyst

IMPACT EVOLVE are exclusively supporting a fast-moving logistics business in their search for a Data Analyst - a role designed not to sit on the side lines but to shape the future of operational efficiency.

This is your chance to own data in a business undergoing a real-time transformation in systems, structure and strategy.

They’re seeking someone with a commercial head and analytical flair - someone who can turn messy Excel sheets into clean insights, and help move the team towards a single-source-of-truth through Power BI.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Partner closely with operations and IT to translate raw operational data into meaningful, automated reports.

  • Clean, interpret, and automate datasets in Excel during the early stages of data transformation.

  • Build and develop insightful Power BI dashboards for warehouse and productivity data - think SLAs, storage costs, stock movement, and labour planning.

  • Support the transition into a new internal data warehouse, helping shape how data flows and is used across the business.

  • Enable leadership to make faster, data-led decisions by presenting clean visuals, regular reporting, and actionable trends.

What We’re Looking For
  • Power BI expertise (able to create, automate, and present complex dashboards).

  • Strong Excel skills for short-term reporting while the infrastructure builds out.

  • Commercial and operational understanding - someone who “gets” retail, warehousing, stock, or logistics environments.

  • Data mindset with a practical lens: you’ll be asked to spot trends, generate insight, and explain it clearly, without needing to present to clients.

  • Comfortable bridging the gap between IT and Ops teams, without needing to be a pure coder or developer.

  • Bonus: experience with WMS tools or data science methods like forecasting, modelling or machine learning.

The First 12 Months

3 months: Automate key reports in Excel, extract insights from stock and invoicing data, and get under the skin of the business. 6 months: Start building out impactful dashboards in Power BI, working alongside IT to connect clean datasets. 12 months: Help transform how ops managers access and use live data across multiple warehouses - fuelling performance, cost savings, and better decisions.

This role will suit someone who loves turning operational chaos into clean, structured dashboards. It’s about seeing the link between pallets and pixels and helping a growing business level up how it thinks about data.
