Job description

We are currently working with a Bristol based Housing Association, who are looking to appoint a Damp and Mould / Repairs Manager on a Nine-month fixed term contract.

This will be a full-time position based in Bristol, with hybrid working (2 / 3 days home working) and a salary of £53,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have excellent people management and contract management skills, with a housing background that has ideally touched upon damp and mould.

Duties will include
  • Leading a team of damp and mould surveyors, as well as a damp and mould coordinator
  • Providing contract management to outsourced maintenance services, ensuring value for money across all contracted works
  • Ensuring the contractors work falls in line with the organisation's Damp and Mould strategy
  • Managing live jobs along with the coordinating team, ensuring jobs are prioritised accordingly
  • Ensuring robust monitoring and data processes for damp and mould maintenance
  • Working alongside planned maintenance teams to promote proactive maintenance against damp and mould
  • Actively completing surveys and specifying works as needed
  • Leading on damp and mould related complaint as needed
Experience required
  • People management, ideally in a repairs or housing setting
  • Experience managing contractors and ensuring compliance with SLAs
