Job description

Drive the delivery and execution of the workstreams defined on the rolling cyber security programme of work. Support the Head of Cyber Security to continuously assess and adjust the strategy and its delivery plan. Engage security, technology, and business stakeholders to prioritise and evangelise cyber security improvement work. Produce appropriate level of documentation, effectively managing issues and risks and ensuring the work package or project meets the agreed budget, time and quality constraints. Support the implementation and assessment of governmental standards including ‘secure-by-design’ and GovAssure. Support the Head of Cyber Security to mature security operations in priority areas of need, for example the Third-Party Risk Management, External Attack Surface Management, vulnerability management, and pan-BFI detective abilities.

Person specifications
  • Proven success in managing and delivering cyber security work package, projects and programmes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of agile project management methodologies, including Scrum.
  • Strong knowledge in certain security domains such as the Third-Party Risk Management (TRPM) and excellent general understanding of cyber security.
  • Proven ability to facilitate team bonding and reflection for a continuously improving process and practice using techniques such as standups and retrospectives.
  • A dynamic personality and demonstrable abilities to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Passion for innovating the way of working with a focus on simplicity and efficiency
