A well-established security organization is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer in Bristol. This hybrid role offers up to £63,000 plus benefits, focusing on designing and maintaining security across complex environments. Candidates must have a minimum of three years in cyber security, particularly within Microsoft ecosystems, and be eligible for DV clearance. The position emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams to ensure compliant security frameworks are met, while also allowing for professional growth and development opportunities.

Their technology function is investing heavily in secure, resilient and modern infrastructure, creating an exciting period of transformation. They are now seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen security across their enterprise platforms and evolving IT landscape.
You will play a hands‑on and consultative role in designing, implementing and maintaining security controls across hybrid and on premises environments. Working closely with infrastructure engineers, architects and project teams, you will ensure that platforms are secure, compliant and aligned with recognised frameworks.
Your work will span threat modelling, vulnerability research, configuration baselines, incident analysis, and the integration of monitoring, logging and alerting capabilities. You will also contribute to security documentation, assessments and continuous improvement activities.
