Job summary

A leading public sector consultancy is seeking a Cyber Security Assurance Manager for a hybrid role in Greater London. The successful candidate will define ISMS development methodologies and engage stakeholders while drafting cyber policies. Active DV or SC clearance is essential, and candidates should have experience working with ISMS frameworks in complex regulated organizations. This is an Inside IR35 contract at a competitive rate of GBP550 – GBP650 per day.

Job description

Synapri are working with a leading Public Sector Department to hire an SC Cleared Cyber Security Assurance Manager on an initial 6–month contract. This role will be a hybrid position with occasional travel (Once a week/fortnight) to Central London.

This position will require active DV or SC clearance to be held. This means you must have worked on a cleared position within the last 12 months.

The key requirements for this role are:
  • Lead the definition of an ISMS development methodology, including ISMS structure, policy authoring, review and change management
  • Lead the definition of the Information Security Management System suite of products and policies
  • Define a clear ISMS hierarchy and set of definitions for Policies, Standards, and Guidance artefacts
  • Lead the definition and production of cyber policy products
  • Create policy matrices, including prioritisation of policy development
  • Engage stakeholders and governance forums to enable embedding of policy products into business use
  • Create, draft and enable Info Sec and Access Control Policy
  • Experience in working with standard ISMS frameworks, such as ISO27001, including tailoring to organisational needs
  • Experience in implementing ISMS in complex regulated organisations

This role will be an Inside IR35 contract paying GBP550 – GBP650pd inside IR35.
