Job description

Customs clearance coordinator is required for a logistics & freight forwarding company in the Tilbury area of Essex. This very established company covers road, ocean and air freight.

This position is a monday to friday 9am to 5pm role, working within the offices of this company. It is easy to get to and parking is available. Customs clearance coordinator, £27-32k.

The role

As a customs clearance coordinator you will ensure all the customs clearance documents are filled out correctly and filled on time ready for freight via road, air or ocean. You will ensure everything is uplifted to CDS and with knowledge of Destin8 / CNS, you will put the commodity codes into the system and ensure the correct customs clearance has been requested. This role will include all the standard customs clearance coordinator duties.

Experience

We are looking for a candidate who can work in Customs clearance with a customs clearance background, you will have a Destin8 / CNS knowledge and you must have experience with CDS. You will be organised and able to work to strict timings.
