Job summary

An automotive company based in Reading is seeking an experienced customer support officer. Description

We are looking for an experienced customer support officer to join this busy automotive headquarters based in Reading.

Key requirements are that you have a strong level of computer literacy in particular with Excel (Formulas, pivot tables etc).

The successful candidate will work full time in the office duriong training / probation and then move to a hybrid working structure.

The role will be supporting customers throughout Europe and in many languages, translated via online tools. They will be expected to help the senior manager in other tasks including basic data analysis and comparison- vlookups, IF formulas etc. and visit other sites both in UK and abroad if necessary.

A UK driving license would be desirable as they have a pool car onsite for business use.

We are ideally looking for candidates who are open to further development into a Team leader or junior project manager role so any experience of this previously will be beneficial.

Most of the orders come out of Spanish and Italian speaking warehouses- hence language skills would be a benefit but not a necessary.
