We are seeking a Customer Supply Manager to join our UK/Ireland Customer Service team!

This role will be responsible for organizing and managing the Customer Supply team (4 direct reports) to ensure customer satisfaction through order management, invoicing and complaint handling. This role will cover both Clinical and Industry and reporting directly to UK/IE Supply Chain Manager.

We would expect that the right candidate would be able to scope out further integrations within Customer Service and Supply Chain, but also wider interactions (e.g. Finance and Marketing). It is also a key pillar in transforming our organisation into an agile, great place to work that is customer centric.

This position will require presence in our Basingstoke office (hybrid working policy).

What will be your responsibility within bioMérieux?

Steer the different operations handled by your team in a timely and compliant manner: order management, communication and invoicing to customers and distributors.

Lead the team; manage and monitor team's workload and performance; define objectives, methods and skills needed, in compliance with all applicable regulations; drive budget/resources for your perimeter.

Contribute to UKI Supply chain leadership, providing support beyond the customer supply team.

Manage the customer supply:
  • Ensure customer orders align with agreed offers and oversee the entire fulfillment process through to invoicing, in compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Address order conformity issues and manage orders rejected by Shared Services Centres (SSC) when necessary.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions for recurring issues.
  • Resolve non-technical complaints in collaboration with cross-functional teams (warehouse, transport, finance, quality, subsidiaries, SSC) through KPI reviews.
  • Determine and implement specific customer services (e.g., shared supply management) in partnership with Sales and Supply Chain teams.
  • Validate and process customer returns and carrier damage claims.
  • Maintain accurate customer master data, monitor pricing structures, and ensure correct implementation.
Main accountabilities:
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Customer Supply team members through training and guidance.
  • Provide operational support to the team in managing daily workload.
  • Monitor team performance, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with Shared Service Centre (SSC) to oversee process setup and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare and manage data for all defined KPIs related to Customer Supply responsibilities.
  • Actively contribute to meetings at both local and wider organizational levels.
  • Establish standardized processes and enhance communication across related departments.
Who are you?
Studies and Experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree, ideally Supply Chain or Finance orientated.
  • Several years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an international environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce, SAP with proficient usage of Windows OS, MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
