We’re looking for positive and community‑minded Customer Service Officers to join our friendly team. These roles will suit those who enjoy variety, work well in a team and take pride in delivering excellent service.

The Shire of Capel is located in the South West, halfway between Bunbury and Busselton. We are nestled between the beach and the forest and are one of the fastest growing coastal Shires in Australia. At the Shire we value Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork which underpin the way we work with our elected members, the community and each other.

Job Description

As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers visiting or contacting the Shire. You’ll manage a broad range of enquiries and requests, assist with bookings and payments, and direct technical and complex matters to the right teams. Your day might include receipting payments, managing venue hire, handling deliveries or providing administration support.

You’ll need to juggle priorities with ease, show initiative with problem‑solving and communicate with warmth and professionalism. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive customer experience and supporting our internal teams.

As we transition to a new operating system and the opening of the Dalyellup Library and Youth Hub, there may be opportunities to assist in other teams or support your customer service colleagues working across different areas. Your flexibility, teamwork and positive attitude will help make it a success.
