Job summary

A local government authority in Liverpool is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to handle inquiries and complaints and promote customer access to services. This role requires flexibility in hours, and training will be provided for proficiency in Careline services. Ideal candidates will assist in delivering a positive image of the council and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Starting salary is £12.71 for a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Handle individual enquiries, complaints, and customer requests.
  • Work flexibly across the hours of the Careline Service.
  • Contribute to improving customer access to services.
  • Promote a positive image of Careline and Liverpool City Council.
  • Assist in delivering the Council's commitment to Best Value and customer service.
  • Become proficient in all aspects of Careline services (training provided).
  • Use relevant ICT systems and maintain records and statistical information.
  • Provide information and advice to customers about Careline services.
  • Develop and maintain procedures to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Perform administrative duties related to customer contact and demonstrate systems to visitors.
  • Support the development of new staff and trainees through mentoring and shadowing.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety legislation and practices.
  • Promote equal opportunities and non-discriminatory practices.
