A leading food distribution company in Edinburgh is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to provide high-quality service to customers. You'll resolve various issues via phone and email while championing customer service standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing multiple queries and possess excellent attention to detail. This role requires strong IT skills and offers hours from 8am to 5pm on a rotational basis, fostering a dynamic working environment.
This is a key role, focusing on providing effective, timely and high quality services to all our customers. You will be resolving a wide range of customer services issues either on the phone, via email or your colleagues; using your excellent judgement and communication skills, and your passion for excellent service. Not only that, but you will seek to implement improvements to communication and processes to raise standards even further.
You will be required to learn and use a variety of bespoke systems to gather and collate information necessary for department managers to make decisions on customer credits or remedial actions, and your organisational skills will allow you to track and manage multiple customer queries through to their resolution.
You must be a skilled and natural customer service advocate with understanding of its importance in a food distribution environment, as well as having the ability to uphold our policies and ensure our customers are aware of and adhere to our terms of service. Your attention to detail and organisation will be excellent, backed up with strong IT skills.
The hours for this role will be 8am - 4.30pm and 8.30am - 5pm on a rotation with other colleagues.
