Job summary

A leading manufacturer of tablet punches in Long Eaton is seeking an apprentice for business administration. You will provide customer support, manage orders, and gain valuable skills in communication and organization. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths. This apprenticeship offers a blend of work-based learning and classroom training at our City Hub Campus.

Responsibilities

  • Providing timely and accurate quotations and supporting information to customers.
  • Collating all necessary information, drawings and correspondence.
  • Co-ordinating activities between agents and customers.
  • Entering orders accurately onto the computer system.
  • Facilitating the supply of customer samples/drawings.
  • Storing and archiving information according to procedure.
  • Providing ongoing support to all customers.
  • Covering Reception duties as required.

Job description

  • Cover Reception duties as and when required
Apprenticeship details
  • The successful apprentice will attend college, once a month on a Monday, at our City Hub Campus
  • You will be assigned an assessor who will set tasks and mark them throughout the course
  • You will attend one-to-one meetings with the assessor/employer periodically to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • End point assessments include project presentation, remote portfolio interview and knowledge test
  • This apprenticeship is work-based learning. Therefore, most of the time you will be working at the employer's address

  • Functional Skills if required
