Job Details

Location: Oak Tree and Water Meadows Leisure Centre

Working Hours / Pattern: 30 hours per week – Week 1: Mon, Tues 11am‑7pm; Wed, Thurs, Fri 1pm‑6pm. Week 2: Mon, Tues 11am‑7pm; Wed 1pm‑6pm; Sat, Sun 9am‑2pm.

Salary: up to £19 per annum + Commission + Excellent Benefits.

We want you to help grow the Serco leisure gym membership and swim lesson programme at Oak Tree and Water Meadows, supporting local sites and contributing to community activity programmes.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve daily/weekly KPI’s (Calls / Appointments / Lead generation & Sales).
  • Create and deliver outreach plans to increase lead generation into the centres.
  • Produce engaging social media posts that showcase areas of the business requiring growth.
  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences to maximise conversions into sales.
  • Assist other staff members when required.
  • Maintain customer records and handle cash accurately.
  • Use IT systems effectively to support sales activities.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience dealing with customers face‑to‑face and over the phone in a busy environment, including sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer‑care skills; able to remain mature and calm under pressure.
  • Proactive, innovative, self‑motivated and target‑driven.
  • Good telephone manner and confidence using IT systems.
  • Desirable: holding a valid driving licence for travel between sites.
