Job description

We are delighted to be offering a fabulous Service based role where the position revolves very much around people, relationships and doing things properly. This is a great chance to join a Independent, values-led business as they continue to develop in 2026.

Our client is a brilliant company working in a niche market, known for genuinely caring about their clients and delivering a service they’re proud of. They don’t do hard sales, targets for the sake of it, or transactional relationships.

They’re now looking for a Relationship Manager, someone who loves looking after customers, building trust, and being the friendly, reliable point of contact once a sale has been agreed.

The role

Our client already has a successful Business Development team out on the road securing new business, and once a sale is agreed, that’s where you come in.

You’ll take ownership of the customer relationship from that point onwards, ensuring the whole process runs smoothly and the client feels looked after every step of the way.

This is not a “pushy sales” role. If opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell arise naturally through conversation and trust great. But the focus is always service first.

What you’ll be doing
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers after the sale
  • Managing orders from confirmation through to delivery and aftercare
  • Building long-term relationships with clients in a niche, loyal market
  • Keeping customers informed, reassured and supported
  • Spotting opportunities to add value where appropriate (never forced)
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience
This role is perfect for someone who:
  • Comes from customer service, account management or relationship management
  • Loves delivering excellent service and takes pride in doing things well
  • Enjoys building genuine, long-term relationships
  • Is organised, calm and great at communicating
  • Is naturally customer-centric rather than sales-driven

If you’ve ever thought “I love looking after customers, and I don't like sales”, this role will feel like a breath of fresh air.

What’s in it for you
  • A chance to work for a values-led, independent business
  • A role built around relationships, not targets
  • A supportive, down-to-earth team
  • A niche market with loyal customers
  • The opportunity to really make the role your own
