About Our Client

This opportunity is with a medium-sized company operating in the Energy & Natural Resources sector. The organisation is known for its commitment to quality and efficiency in delivering reliable solutions to its global customer base.

Job Description

  • Issue sales quotations to new and existing customers tailored to the individual.
  • Calculating the price of the product and obtaining freight charges where necessary.
  • Plan and enter sales orders to a high level of accuracy, liaising with the relevant departments regarding stock availability or manufacturing schedules.
  • Ensuring that customers and overseas stockists requirements are met and products are supplied within agreed timescale.
  • Communicate with credit control regarding status of customer accounts.
  • Negotiate freight costs with selective carriers taking into account cost, reliability and service.
  • Plan and arrange the despatch of international sales orders via sea, road and air and provide detailed and accurate shipping documents including instructions and calculations for export customs entries to the relevant carrier.
  • Produce the relevant export documentation based on the customer / stockists requirements or country specific regulations. This includes (but is not limited to) Invoices, Packing Lists, Insurance Certificates, Certificates of Origin, EUR1 and Letters of Credit and thus ensuring that delays during export & import are minimised and payment is facilitated.


The Successful Applicant

A successful Customer Export Co-ordinator should have:

  • Specific previous experience within an Export environment (Manufacturing Background)- relevant professional qualification would be highly advantageous.
  • Arranging international shipments via sea, air and road.
  • Experience of sales order processing & proven experience of providing exemplary customer service.
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written to all levels.
  • Extensive experience within Export is required due to the nature of the role.
