Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‑beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic's brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango, London Essence and the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy. With a strong national footprint, the Carlsberg Britvic business includes six production facilities and sixteen logistics depots servicing customers up and down the UK. As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed. In this role as Customer Development Executive, you will help grow Carlsberg Britvic market share within your defined territory. Working as part of a successful team, you will drive sales of our fantastic portfolio of Beers, Ciders and Soft Drinks by maximising brand availability and visibility in Symbol and Independent stores. This is a unique opportunity to join this exciting partnership, where we will equip you with the necessary tools, training and support to succeed.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with our customers by building outstanding relationships in convenience stores, understanding retailer needs, their local consumers and executing solutions.
  • Adopt a full category‑based selling approach to grow and develop every outlet you work with for the benefit of both the retail outlet and Carlsberg Britvic.
  • Create a winning territory business plan and take a business‑development approach in your territory to grow sales and market share.
  • Use data and evidence‑based retailer successes to drive best practice in your territory, region and across the team.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
  • Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach that demonstrates an ability to offer alternative approaches to tackling challenges and winning over your stores.
  • You are a fun, passionate, driven, and target‑orientated team player who can bring brands to life.
  • Your entrepreneurial style means that you thrive on being the key contact for customers, driving new business and maintaining sustainable relationships.
  • You are eager to win, advocating our brands and putting consumers at the heart of what we do and sell.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills will be key to your success in this role.
  • May have previous experience in Direct Sales/Convenience or FMCG.
  • Good administration, organisational and planning skills, commercially astute with great negotiation techniques.
  • Self‑motivated and IT and social media literate.
  • Strong and resilient with the personal energy and will to act at pace.
  • Participating as part of a team in a proactive manner.
  • Full valid manual driving licence, eligibility to work in the UK, and live within a 60‑minute commute from the location of the role. Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence (with no more than six points or previous bans); all offers will be subject to successful completion of a DVLA licence check.
