Credit Risk Data Analyst – Risk & Analytics

Are you passionate about turning data into insight that drives smarter decisions? I am looking for a Data Analyst to join a growing risk and analytics team at a well-established financial services organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and enhance your technical expertise, working on projects that modernise data analytics and support data-driven decision making at the heart of the business.

What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting modernisation projects across analytics, data visualisation and insight.
  • Embedding Power BI, Python and automation into the team’s workflow to deliver sharper analysis and MI.
  • Producing regular management reporting and ad-hoc analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Helping migrate legacy tools (SAS) into modern data platforms.
  • Contributing to data governance objectives, working cross-functionally with colleagues across the business.
What we’re looking for
  • Strong background in data analysis, ideally within financial services.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI and Python, with the ability to present clear and engaging insights.
  • A degree (STEM preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Motivation to broaden your skills with SAS and SQL as needed.
  • Interest in financial and risk concepts, with the drive to keep learning.
  • A collaborative mindset, with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
