Description
Credit Controller responsibilities:
- Oversee the credit control process to ensure timely collection of payments
- Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate actions
- Maintain accurate records of all credit-related transactions
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment discrepancies
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and credit risks
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Assist in setting credit limits for new and existing customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account queries efficiently
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Experience working in credit control or a similar role
- A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for financial management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- A problem-solving mindset to address and resolve payment issues effectively
Job Offer
- Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, based on experience
