The ideal Cover Supervisor will have strong behaviour management experience and an understanding of a variety of subjects taught at secondary level. This is a flexible role where you can pick the days of work that suit you.

What you’ll be doing as a Cover Supervisor

• Preparing the classroom for lessons and delivering a variety of work prepared by the absent class teacher
• Maintaining classroom control
• Engaging learners with both classroom and lab‑based activities
• Being flexible, thinking on your feet and showing an enthusiasm for a variety of subjects
• Working in accordance with the school’s behaviour management policies

What you’ll need to be a successful Cover Supervisor

• At least 3 months experience working with children
• Ideally, be educated to a degree level
• References covering the last two years
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
• The right to work in the UK
