Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor for an immediate start to support secondary schools across Bromley. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the classroom, particularly if you're considering a career in teaching.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students are engaged with the work set by their absent teacher.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, productive learning environment.
  • Providing additional support to individual students or small groups as needed.
  • Maintaining classroom order and discipline while adhering to the school's behaviour policies.
  • Assisting with various administrative tasks and supporting school-wide activities.
  • Reporting back to teachers on students progress, behaviour, and any issues.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting, but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
