Cover Supervisor

Required as soon as possible

37 hours per week

TA Grade 3 – SCP 7 – 17, £26,403 to £31,022 FTE (£22,681 to £26,649 per annum)

Permanent, Term time plus 5 inset days

Our Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor. This role will be based at St Augustine’s Catholic High School. The Cover Supervisor will:

  • Complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes, it may also involve progress and monitoring students and assessing, recording and reporting on students’ achievement, progress and development.
  • Be responsible for students’ learning and behaviour in those circumstances where a teacher is not available to teach a class or where a group of students need special supervision.
  • Day to day management of Supply Staff under the guidance of the Senior Cover Supervisor
