Pay:£90 - £130 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours:8:00am - 3:30pm
Contract Type:Full-time, long-term with the potential to become permanent

Supply Desk is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Southampton to recruit a full-time Cover Supervisor to start September 2025. This is a long-term position with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will supervise classes across a variety of subjects, including Maths, History, and Geography, for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. While the lessons will be planned in advance, you will be responsible for managing the classroom, maintaining behaviour standards, and ensuring that pupils remain on task.

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals considering a future in teaching or for those with existing experience working in education.

  • Are willing to cover a variety of subjects as required

  • Hold a DBS registered on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
