£16 - 19 per hour

Newstaff are looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to join our team. If you are an Overseas trained teacher, have or started a PGCE, Degree qualified Tutor, have teaching experience… we’d love to hear from you!

Supply cover Supervisors will cover in daily/weekly supply requirements in secondary schools across Leighton Buzzard. Longer term or temp to perm roles may be available.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and managing classroom behaviour.
  • Delivering preprepared lessons and encouraging student engagement
  • Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Providing support and assistance to students as needed
  • Reporting and issues or incidents to leadership team
  • Working with the school team to ensure continuity of learning.

Must have:

  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, and genuine passion working with students.
  • Able to manage classroom behaviour.
