Cover Supervisor

Location: Ashington, Northumberland

Job Summary of a Cover Supervisor

• Supervise classes and ensure students remain on task with the work they have been set.
• Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school rules.
• Respond to any questions from students about processes and procedures.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor

• Ensure that the classroom resources are utilised effectively.
• Maintain a calm and focused classroom environment.
• Report back as appropriate using the school's agreed referral procedures on the behaviour of pupils during the class, and any issues arising.
