Its Court of Protection team is trusted to manage complex matters involving property, financial affairs, and health and welfare decisions – often for clients with significant personal injury or clinical negligence awards.

The Role

You will join a respected Court of Protection team acting on a broad range of complex, sensitive, and high‑value matters.

Work will span:

  • Advising clients, families and carers on mental capacity and Court of Protection processes
  • Preparing deputyship, statutory will and complex financial or welfare applications
  • Acting as (or supporting) deputies in managing property and financial affairs
  • Managing cases involving brain‑injured and vulnerable clients, trust administration and tax/account management
  • Handling disputes around capacity, deputyship and best‑interest decisions
  • Drafting LPAs and guiding clients through registration and practical use
  • Liaising with multidisciplinary professionals to secure the client’s best interests
  • Providing internal and external training on developments in the field
  • You’ll take ownership of a varied caseload while working within a supportive team structure that encourages autonomy and ongoing development.
