This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong drafting skills and a keen eye for detail to play a vital role in ensuring costs are accurately prepared, managed, and recovered. You will work closely with our legal teams, providing expert support and advice, helping to shape cost strategies, and contributing directly to the success of the firm.

Main Responsibilities
  • Preparation of detailed bills of costs, costs schedules and costs estimates
  • Review of opponents’ points of dispute and preparation of replies
  • Preparation of costs budgets
  • Reviewing opponent’s costs budgets, preparing BDRs, Precedent Ts and entering into negotiations
  • Potential to attend CCMC hearings
  • Ensuring that the quality of work produced is to the highest standard
  • Management of daily workloads and achieving service level agreements
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise to ensure targets are delivered
  • Ensuring the Client is regularly updated on the current situation
  • Maintaining good working relationships with internal colleagues
  • Maximising the firm’s profitability while maintaining the highest Client care standard
  • Adhering to the firm’s policies
  • Any other duties as reasonably required by the business
