Job Description

Job Purpose

A Senior Manager is responsible for managing a full client portfolio of corporate compliance with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality delivery. In this role you will also be expected to manage risk and financial performance, mentor junior colleagues and drive growth through identifying and pursuing business development opportunities. Further, you will have the opportunity to work with Directors/Partners on consultancy and advisory projects varying in complexity.

As a Senior Manager your responsibilities will include

  • Undertaking consultancy work and ad hoc advisory cases
  • Providing exceptional client service
  • Identifying growth opportunities on client portfolio
  • Staff and Team Management and development, including monitoring staff performance
  • Ensuring internal procedures are followed, and take account of institute and HMRC guidance, where relevant
Qualifications

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Significant corporate tax experience gained within the profession and/or industry
  • Technically capable tax adviser who is able to manage complex client work
  • Demonstrable experience of managing people and clients
  • Existing business development skills and appetite to grow business
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders both internally and externally

Professional Qualifications and Education

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA) or international equivalent
