Job summary

A professional services company based in Reading is seeking a Corporate Receptionist to provide excellent service at their front-of-house. The role includes welcoming guests, managing calls, and ensuring all areas are well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have fantastic communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a professional appearance. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is highly desirable. This position offers a competitive pay rate of £13-£15 per hour and the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as hotels or restaurants is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a five-star service by welcoming tenants and guests.
  • Answer calls and emails promptly and appropriately.
  • Handle queries from occupiers and guests, providing assistance.
  • Sign in visitors and provide directions.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and preparations.
  • Maintain the front-of-house area in immaculate condition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with all tenants.

Corporate Receptionist – Reading

We are currently looking for a Corporate Receptionist to work on our client’s site in Reading. The position involves working in the front of house team on the ground floor, ensuring incoming tenants and visitors receive a 5* service in our one‑tenant buildings.

We also cover temporary positions in Bristol, filling vacancies for sick leave, holiday cover, and ongoing bookings for our clients.

Location: Reading
Pay: £13ph – £15ph

Responsibilities
  • Ensure a five* service is delivered by welcoming tenants and guests
  • Ensure all calls and emails are answered promptly and appropriately
  • Deal with any queries from occupiers and guests, offering assistance in resolving issues
  • Sign in visitors and provide directions
  • Show tenants and guests to available hot desks and meeting rooms
  • Book, prepare, and clear meeting rooms
  • Report any relevant information and issues to the Front of House Manager and designated Facilities Management team
  • Maintain the front‑of‑house area in immaculate condition – replenish kitchen stock and keep areas tidy
  • Build relationships with all tenants in the building
