Overview

The London Corporate Department is one of the most dynamic practices in the market, advising ambitious, high-growth companies and their investors on private company work, M&A and capital markets. The focus is firmly on technology and life sciences, and the well supported team has grown considerably in the last few years through both lateral hires and internal promotions.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams on cross-border M&A and/or private equity transactions, including due diligence, disclosure and ancillary documentation, and step into a lead associate role as required.
• Advise on cutting-edge domestic and international transactions, often with a strong transatlantic element.
• Contribute to sector depth in technology and life sciences and support a culture defined by collaboration, inclusivity and ambition.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified mid-level associate (3-5 PQE).
• Strong academics and proven experience in cross-border M&A and/or private equity.
• Experience running workstreams and stepping into leadership roles; exposure to VC-backed company transactions is welcome but not essential.
