Overview

A 4–5 PQE Corporate M&A Associate role with a leading US law firm in London, focusing on complex, high-value public and private M&A transactions for blue-chip clients with cross-border exposure.

Responsibilities
  • Handle the full lifecycle of transactions from structuring through execution.
  • Advise on the UK Takeover Code and Listing Rules; draft offer documents and circulars; negotiate market-leading agreements such as SPAs, joint ventures and restructuring documentation.
  • Coordinate with partners, clients and advisers; manage multiple workstreams; deliver integrated advice to drive transactions forward.
Qualifications
  • 4–5 years’ PQE in corporate M&A, ideally from a leading international or top-tier firm.
  • Proven track record in both public and private M&A with strong technical knowledge; excellent drafting and negotiation skills; able to handle high-profile matters.
  • Commercial awareness, adaptability and a proactive approach; enthusiasm for cross-border work.
