Corporate Development Director
Support the EVP Corporate Development and broader Corporate Development team in the identification, evaluation and execution of selected strategic activities including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority interest investments across the world, including commercial review and appropriate business analysis.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days per week from our London office.
This role sits within Corporate Development and plays a key part in shaping Sage's growth through acquisitions, divestments and strategic partnerships. You'll work closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams and external advisors to evaluate opportunities and support transactions from early assessment through to completion.
You'll coordinate and support live corporate development projects, leading due diligence, legal negotiations and transaction execution where required. This includes building and reviewing valuation models and financial analysis to support internal approvals, managing deal timelines, and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned. You'll also contribute to post‑deal integration or separation activity, mentor and develop corporate development managers, and help build a strong pipeline of future opportunities through market and industry research. Working closely with corporate strategy, you'll ensure development activity aligns to Sage's wider strategic priorities.
We're looking for someone with strong M&A and financial modelling experience, who is comfortable managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders. You'll bring a commercial mindset, attention to detail, and the confidence to work with senior leaders and external advisors. Experience mentoring others and working in fast‑paced, transaction‑driven environments will be important, along with the ability to connect corporate development activity to broader strategic goals.
