Job summary

A leading legal recruitment agency in Eastbourne is looking to hire a Corporate Commercial Solicitor. This role offers the opportunity to provide legal guidance on corporate governance and commercial agreements, along with the responsibility of drafting and negotiating legal documents. Candidates must be qualified solicitors with at least one year of Post Qualification Experience in corporate law. The successful candidate will also receive a £1000 signing bonus upon joining the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on various business matters, including corporate governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial agreements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Advise on legal risks and potential liabilities that may impact the business.
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and dispute resolutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the business.
  • Assist with corporate restructuring, reorganisations, and other legal transactions.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees on legal and compliance issues.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on business decisions and initiatives.
About You
  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
  • A Minimum 1 Year PQE within Corporate matters.
