Overview

Corporate/Commercial Associate - 2 PQE + London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mid-level associate (2+ PQE) to join the Corporate/Commercial team of a leading full-service law firm based in London. The firm advises a diverse client base ranging from large institutions, developers and businesses through to government bodies, not-for-profits, SMEs and family offices. Known for its particular strength in real estate, housing and development, the firm also has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice across a wide variety of sectors.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with experienced partners and colleagues in the Corporate/Commercial team, managing your own matters with increasing autonomy.
• Assist on a broad mix of corporate and finance matters, including joint venture arrangements, M&A, corporate structuring, governance and compliance.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial contracts across IT, hospitality and consumer markets.
• Provide regulatory advice and support investment transactions.
• Supervise and support junior colleagues and contribute to business development initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience (2+ PQE).
• Strong technical and drafting skills.
• Eagerness to develop commercial awareness and confidence to manage client relationships effectively.
• Proactive, collaborative approach; comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Interest in the real estate sector is highly desirable.
